Today is Primary Election Day, and it’s a bittersweet one here at the shop! We are bidding a temporary farewell to two of our powerhouse team members, Tasha and Lexi, as they head back to their respective universities to further their education.

Seeing Tasha (our incredible Pol-Sci graduate!) hit the polls with her younger brother is the perfect example of what makes our team so special. They don't just serve this community—they lead by example and show up for its future. 💫

We could not be prouder of these "kiddos" and the heart they bring to everything they do. Join us in wishing them the absolute best this semester—and celebrate them today by getting out to make your voice heard at the polls!

Lately, my theme behind the counter has been "Slowing Down to the Speed of Joy". Whether it’s Mr. Sargent stopping by to proudly show off a photo of our barista’s stunning latte art, watching our hardworking team share a laugh between rushes, or seeing you sit down with a warm cup to connect with a neighbor—those quiet, beautiful moments are what this shop was built for.

Coffee is more than just fuel; it’s an invitation to pause.

This week, we hope you take a moment to breathe deep, savor the magic in front of you, and move at your own pace. We’ll be right here waiting with a fresh pour and a warm smile whenever you need us. ☕️💖

A huge thank you to the wonderful Mr. Sargent for stopping in and taking the time to share this moment! He flagged me down to proudly show me a photo he captured of a masterpiece from one of our talented baristas—a truly stunning piece of latte art. 🦢🌿

When our neighbors take as much pride in the craftsmanship coming out of our shop as we do, my heart absolutely beams. I already know this crew works hard to keep this neighborhood caffeinated and loved, but moments like this—where our craft is truly celebrated by the community—make everything worth it.

We trade coffee beans for beach towels for one day, and this crew goes full feral-artistic-mermaid mode—and I wouldn’t have it any other way! 🎨🧜‍♀️🌳

I’ll be honest, neighbors: I was far too busy soaking up the sun and of taking care of my team to take a million photos. But the few moments that June managed to capture tell the whole story of who the Amore crew is when the aprons come off.

We had an entire circle of baristas completely locked into beachside arts and crafts. We had staff scaling trees just because they could. And yes, the crew collectively turned June into a literal sand-and-pebble mermaid.

As a business owner, watching this team just hang out, laugh, and exist as a bunch of friends outside the shop is the ultimate reward. They show up for this neighborhood with so much heart every single day, and seeing them get to pour all that beautiful, chaotic, loving energy back into each other was everything. 💖🙌

To our village: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your grace, your patience, and your endless support in our closing early to make these memories.
