I have been baking since I was 8 years old. At The Flour Girl Bakeshop we take a lot of pride in everything we make, no shortcuts- our desserts are homemade with care and attention to detail. We use the best quality ingredients and try to use as many locally sourced products as possible. Through out my career, I have treasured being a part of my customers special occasions from, weddings, baby showers, and birthdays to anniversaries and holidays. I feel so lucky to be able to create products that I love and hope you enjoy, as much as I love making them.

What a wonderful finale to our wedding season- this was a perfect way to end for the year. An amazing spread of cupcakes, pocket pies, apple c***r donuts, mini cheesecakes, brownies, lemon bars,cookies, and a carrot cake wedding cake. I love playing a small part, in these special days. This September, has been filled with beautiful weddings. This past weekend was no exception. I loved the stunning floral centerpiece with flowers grown by Spiral Blooms and arranged by Fern To Table, truly a showstopper. A gorgeous display , and delicious cupcakes of Peanut Butter Bliss, Vanilla, and Apple c***r with Browned Butter frosting.

Two of my of my favorite childhood desserts - banana cake and classic Nila wafer banana pudding.This decadent banana layer cake filled with vanilla pudding, sliced banana, covered with Nila wafers, and drizzled with white chocolate is the best of both worlds.

A beautiful bridal shower from this past weekend. The theme was “ Fresh off the market “ - checkered gingham, fresh flowers,and the perfect setting on a family farm. It was just the right mix of elegant, vintage, country, and whimsy. These cakes were right up my alley for decor, I really loved this particular style.
