The Farmhouse Kitchen is an organic cafe and juice bar located in the heart of the vibrant West Reading Main Street corridor. Our mission is to provide healthy, transparent food and drink options for breakfast and lunch in a warm and inviting environment. We want you to feel 'at home' surrounded by smiles and laughter. It brings us much joy to provide a community hub of nostalgia and comfort. Our

simple menu will be highlighted by educational pieces on the sourcing and benefits of its ingredients. In addition, we will host small group cooking classes, health forums, and a speaker's bureau highlighting local health and wellness businesses. With values focusing around relationships, community, and sustainability, we strive to empower individuals to make informed decisions on health and wellness. Alongside other like-minded members of the community, through a concerted effort, we hope to make a positive impact on the progressive health movement of our local area. Many thanks to all of those who helped play an integral role in building out our beautiful community space. Our dream of serving others would not have become a reality without their passion and enthusiasm in their respective crafts and fully buying in to our core values!

Thank you for your patience and your kindness as we navigate our schedules this past month. As always, we are forever grateful for all of our wonderful customers and grateful to our wonderful staff who shows up everyday with a smile. Our hours from now on are as follows:

Mondays: open 8am-3pm
Tuesdays: closed
Wednesdays: open 8am-3pm
Thursdays: open 8am-3pm
Fridays: open 8am-3pm
Saturdays: open 8am-3pm
Sundays: open 8am-3pm

We are so grateful for our community, our wonderful customers, and our fantastic staff! For the past 9 years, the Farmhouse Kitchen has served the public, berks county and the surrounding area, 7 days a week, only closing for major holidays like Christmas, New Years, Easter, and Thanksgiving. Due to staff vacations with their families this month, we will be closing the remaining Tuesdays and Wednesdays of August. We expect for September to be back to our normal schedule. We thank you for all of your continued support!

Have you noticed our newest addition to our retail fridge? We are now serving Hempzer drinks! Hempzer is a local owned business and the drinks are vegan and gluten-free. Hempzers are a hemp-derived THC seltzer offered in 4 different flavors and 2 different intensities. The blackberry and blood orange are 5mg and the peach ginger and mango are 10mg.

*These drinks are for 21+ only*

This one’s the Harvest Chicken wrap! It’s served cold and made with roasted chicken, cranberries, red onions, apples, GooseLane greens, NY sharp cheddar, and to pull it all together, our house made maple mustard vinaigrette (my absolute favorite dressing).
