Do you have a skill you'd like to share with the community? The Esopus Repair Cafe is actively seeking volunteer "coaches" to help at the Repair Cafe events!

If you can repair jewelry, clothing, furniture, electronics, tools, or know how to sew, sharpen tools, etc - they could use your expertise Perhaps you have a skill not listed here - just let them know how you'd like to help! In the past they've even had Medicare advising, so the range of services is broad.

Coaching is no commitment - they have 6 events a year, so attend as few or as many as you'd like. Plus - free pizza for coaches!

The next Repair Cafe will be February 28th from 10-2 at the Ascension Holy Trinity Church in West Park. Hope to see you there!

May's calendar is back to its usual design thanks to a more 'sustainable' pace! Kingston returns to Redeemer Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 4th, the same day as the popular Schenectady Repair Cafe at Electric City Barn. May 18th sees the launch of the Averill Park/SHAC Center Repair Cafe in the Capital Region and the Greenburgh Repair Cafe debuts the same day in Westchester County. We close out the month with the Rondout Valley Repair Cafe and the Esopus Repair Cafe--both in new locations so please remember to doublecheck the repair cafe calendar before setting out for your destination!
