Why we name “Palm sugar” ?
3 Main things we would like to relate together and bring all together to be one name
- First relates to the name of area: West Palm Beach
- Second relate to Asian food or ingredient
- Third relates to sweet or dessert
First Palm relates to West Palm Beach by “Palm”. When combines 2 words together to be “Palm Sugar”, which is one of the most flavorful ingredients in

Asian food. Southeast Asian people know this very well and always use for cooking in both main dishes and desserts

This is why we have the name “Palm Sugar: Street Food Asian Grill and Dessert Bar”



Palm Sugar aims to be one of the most exciting restaurants located in Downtown West Palm Beach. The concept provides Pan-Asian comfort food such as honey-soy garlic chicken wings, Chinese char siu bun, Udon Tom yum Kimchi soup, and Asian tacos. In addition, we also serve Southeast Asian street dishes that include varieties of Asian style BBQ, and authentic Thai favorites. These are only a few samples of our delicious selections. Moreover, our pastry department offers varieties of delicious desserts that incorporate some Asian ingredients into a well-known classic. We have many flavored cupcakes that also available in mini size, different flavored tarts such as yuzu key lime, coconut cream, and blueberry. We also offer a pairing with our great sweet wine selections. Not many people know that we serve illy brand coffee and bubble tea! Our creator focuses on bringing the best out of ingredients, organic and transforms its into exotic flavor profiles, yet reflect the dish into a simple form that our guests can relate to. That is our committed culinary mission to the customers. We also promote locally sourced ingredients for freshness, and supporting of our community. Some vegetables and organic herbs used in our restaurant are from Wisakha’s garden, a local gardener in Boynton Beach. Our establishment focuses on being a neighborhood gem for locals and visitors. It’s the place for every occasions; to hang out, grab n’ go food; stop by for desserts and coffees, or a tasty casual meal with friends and families. The Design

The design for Palm Sugar can be described as industrial contemporary. It reflects a warm industrial space in order to keep a clean aesthetic balanced between food presentations and employee interactions. The mixed of materials are critical to the design from wood communal tables to the raw feel of the concrete plaster wall.
