One thing I’ve learned in life is that people can say whatever they want about you, but your character, your actions, and the life you’ve lived will always speak louder than rumors.

Before election season, I was already showing up for our seniors because I believe they should always be a priority.

That commitment is why I plan to create the “Are U OK?” Program if elected as your next Monroe City marshal. An initiative focused on checking in on our seniors, making sure they’re safe, connected, and know they haven’t been forgotten.

Our seniors have spent a lifetime taking care of us. It’s time we make taking care of them a priority.

This isn’t something I just started talking about, I’ve been showing up. And I’m not done yet.

Today, I found the time to go out and support the young men I’m blessed to sponsor.

Sponsoring a team or organization is one thing, but investing your time means so much more than simply giving money. Our young people need more than a check—they need people who are willing to show up, encourage them, listen to them, and let them know that somebody believes in their future.

For me, it’s never been just about sponsorship. It’s about being present and making a real investment in the next generation. Showing up matters.

I challenge every leader, business owner, coach, mentor, and community member: don’t just write the check show up. MCAL needs US!! Give our young people your time, your encouragement, and your support. If we want a stronger community tomorrow, we have to invest in our young people TODAY.

Today, Amanda and I had the opportunity to feed the Neville Junior High boys. Each week, these young men continue to display respect, hard work, discipline, and teamwork—and that deserves to be recognized.

If it’s the Lord’s will and I’m elected as your next Monroe City Marshal, our children will be a priority. I believe in recognizing their hard work, encouraging their perseverance, and giving them the support and opportunities they need to succeed.

When we invest in our children, we invest in the future of Monroe.

Long before election season, I was showing up for Monroe’s youth, visiting every school in our district, encouraging our young people to stay out of trouble, believe in themselves, and never let anyone tell them what they can’t become. I didn’t just talk about it, I BUILT a therapeutic group home to save young men lives. 

I’ve shared my journey as an entrepreneur to show them what’s possible through hard work and perseverance.

Let’s keep showing up, opening doors, and investing in our youth. They are the future of Monroe.
