I had the BEST time at the Luxe Love Wedding & Bridal Fair! 🤍✨
I met so many incredible people and businesses, and hearing the stories behind the businesses—and the people running them—made the entire experience that much more special. I truly believe everybody has a story worthy of being the centerfold, and I loved getting to know a little piece of so many of them today.
I definitely had a few moments that made me laugh. 😂 I didn’t have nearly as much time to set up as I wanted, but apparently I made my little food samples a little too fancy. For a while, people weren’t trying them, and I kept thinking, “Oh no… am I failing? Why is nobody eating my food?!”
Then a few people came back after seeing others sampling and told me they honestly thought the food was DECORATION because it was too pretty and fancy to eat. 😂🤍
I had to tell them, “No, eat it!!” “Simple food can be luxurious !” And the best part? Everything in those tiny little sample containers is food I actually serve every single day at my food truck. Whole foods, simple ingredients, made beautifully—and made with love.
The feedback I received was incredible, and I’m really hoping I met a whole lot of future customers today. Toast & Tango can’t wait to feed you next week! 🥕
And I have to give some love to my very first friend here, Lyndsay with Pure Drip Wellness. 🤍 Since coming to this community, she has been so kind to me and has genuinely helped me showcase myself and my business. That means more than she probably realizes.
And can we PLEASE talk about JAC's Craft Smokehouse!!🤤 Their food matches their delicious personalities perfectly. Not only did they introduce me to what might officially be my FAVORITE meatball and my FAVORITE pickle, but I don’t think I’ll ever get the image of that pastrami-wrapped smoked beet out of my head. 🤤😂 Seriously—so creative, so good, and such wonderful people to meet.
I also met a handful of brides and grooms whose special days I cannot WAIT to be a part of. 🥹💍 and if you haven’t said yes to the dress the girls Hers Bridal and Special Occasions are the sweetest and most thoughtful 🧡
Lyndsey and I are also pairing up to create beautiful bridal showers, engagement parties, baby showers and more—bringing together a little bit of Whole Food goodness and wellness bliss. 🌿✨
Today reminded me why I love what I do. It isn’t only about feeding people. It’s about meeting people, hearing their stories, supporting other small businesses, becoming part of a community and getting the opportunity to be a tiny piece of some of the biggest moments in people’s lives.
