I’m a little rusty so this plan took longer than it used to but, onto the construction phase. It’s a simple, minimalist plan for a couple who is really busy, loves to entertain and golf but doesn’t want to spend much time taking care of the yard.

A few years ago a client didn’t want this Paeonia so it ended up in my yard. It was struggling until I planted in our silty clay loam along the Willamette River.
I have no idea its name, maybe some of you know. It has foliage similar to a tree peony but it has not gotten more than 3’ tall. As you can see the blossoms are incredible though.
