More discounts with cash💵! (Long post warning 😁)

Before launching Castle Coffee, while considering options for POS systems, we toyed with the idea of offering a cash discount. Digital currency is super convenient and I'm glad we all have options, but there are many reasons to carry and use cash. I'll never forget my surprise the first time I was at a big city coffee shop and they wouldn't accept my money, and I've been mildly annoyed with the race toward a "cashless society" ever since. Probably my biggest frustration is having to order tickets online before certain high school sporting events!👀😏

Anyway, many of you have probably seen the post being shared all over with Dave Ramsey's comments on going cashless. I don't know the origin of the post, and I'm not even sure he's right about every point, but I think almost all of us can agree that there are real dangers to allowing our society to go fully cashless. Seeing so many comments about that and already having strong opinions ourselves, we've decided to revisit the subject, and as of right this moment we are offering a 5% discount on all cash purchases at Castle Coffee🧋🍪☕️!!!

It's not a simple issue, but I encourage everyone to consider what we can do to ensure that cold, hard cash will always be good. For all of the benefits of technology, I believe the best future is (at least partly) analog, and we need to protect ourselves from the dangers of going fully digital! The end 🙂
