This page may be a ghost town these days - as the shack has been gone so long - but the family remains: Congrats to former shack all-star Josh and his beautiful bride Virginia on their wedding this afternoon. And what do you know, all three handsome groomsmen, also former shack alums. We were so proud to attend and reminisce.

It's the end of the world as we know it...and we feel sad. State street will be closing for 3 entire months starting May 15th with no access to our lot / frontage this summer and a small locally owned shack like us just won't be able to weather the storm. So we regret to inform you that The Shack will be closing Saturday, for good. But as we do all things - classy till the last - we plan to go out in style...with ridiculous specials all week, starting tomorrow. So come on in, and get them hot, because you will literally never have the opportunity again. PLEASE SHARE!!!!
