You asked, and we delivered! We've had so many of you wondering about the legendary Al Pastor, brother to our very own Pastor Miguel. Well, here they are!

Witness Pastor Miguel, in his element, holding the cross and skillet, giving his blessing to what we lovingly call the 'holy meat' .... the incredible Al Pastor itself, spinning gloriously on the spit. And yes, those are his blessed creations, fresh in the tacos right there.

It's a true family affair, bringing you both spiritual sustenance and the most delicious tacos this side of heaven. Come taste the divine difference!

¡Órale, mi gente! Big Juan's Funeral & Tacos is officially on the road, and my crew? Pura vida!

That's me, Big Juan (52), in my best Hawaiian shirt, making sure everything runs smooth. Always with the ganas and ready to bring the flavor!

Over on the left, looking a little confundido, is Fernando (28). He's still figuring out that marinade injector, but he's learning, mijo! We all start somewhere.

Then we got the real jefa, Tina (45), our culinary bruja. Don't let that serious face fool you; she's whipping up the best tacos this side of el otro lado. Pure magia!

Next to her, bringing the bendiciones, is Pastor Miguel (58). Yeah, you heard right! He's blessing our carnitas. Some folks ask if he's related to Al Pastor, and I tell 'em, it's his brother!

And finally, adding mucho brillo and some loca energy, is Crystal (26). She might look ready for a club, but her heart is in keeping things sparkling clean. You gotta love her energía!

We're here, we're serving, and we're ready to make your last wishes (and your taste buds) truly inolvidables. Come find us! ¡No se lo pierdan, cabrones!

Ezekiel tried to use our drive-thru with his buggy today.

Horse got stuck.

Fernando had to push from behind.

Horse farted, and it ended up being a bit more than gas. Nando learned his lesson....never trust a fart.

Nando earned his bonus today. 3 tacos for helping our dear friend, Ezekiel.

🌶️ SALSA VERDE UPDATE! 🌶️

¡Órale! Remember this morning's "urn situation"?

Well, the García family just called back...

LADY: "Señor Juan, we tried the salsa that was supposed to be abuelo..."
ME: "¡Ay, Dios! I'm so sorry again!"
LADY: "No no! It was INCREDIBLE! Abuelo would have loved it!"

Turns out they used our extra-spicy salsa verde at the memorial dinner and everyone went CRAZY for it! 🔥

Now they want to order 10 containers for the family reunion next month!

Fernando overheard and said: "So... we accidentally catered a funeral?"
Pastor Miguel: "The Lord works in mysterious ways, mijo!"

The best part? They asked if we could name it "Abuelo's Secret Recipe" on our menu!

Their grandfather was apparently famous in the family for his salsa, and they said ours "tastes like his blessing from heaven!" 😭❤️

Sometimes the biggest mistakes turn into the biggest blessings, amigos.

¡Ay, caramba! What a week. You know, they say that everything comes to an end, even a good taco. But here at Big Juan's, we believe that endings can also be... well, they can be happy and spicy!

This morning, a lovely family came to pick up their abuelo's urn from our hearse. I gave them the box, they grabbed their taco order, gave me a big hug, and they were on their way. Five minutes later, my phone rings. It's the family.

Lady: "Señor Juan! We are very confused. My grandfather… he smells like salsa verde! And he’s still hot!"

It turns out, in our haste, we had given them the thermal container for our extra-spicy salsa! Our salsa is so fresh it’s practically a family member itself, but it is not for a funeral service! We got it all sorted out, but it was a great reminder that even in grief, a little spice can bring a smile.

It's a strange job, but it's the Big Juan idea. From grave to table, we have a little something for everyone. And sometimes, you get a little bit of both.

They said they'd be repeat customers for the salsa and the service!

🌮 EVENING UPDATE FROM THE FIELD! 🌮

¡Órale! What a día we had in In*******se, amigos!

This morning Pastor Miguel showed up wearing his clerical collar, chef hat, AND safety goggles for "triple protection blessing." 🥽

Then the health inspector arrived asking for "credentials."
Pastor Miguel got SO excited - ran to get his certificate from Universidad de Internet!

"Magna Cum Laude!" he announced proudly.
"Very rigorous 14-minute program!"

Little did he know that they were interested in food safety and not his ordination certification. Pastor versus "Al Pastor" can be confusing.

More drama mañana when we head to Blue Ball!
(Fernando -our Assistant Manager and Juan's nephew- is already giggling at THAT town name...)
