At Crown Market, when we say we are a kosher grocery store, we take that label seriously.

We are constantly working with outside organizations like to make sure we are constantly updating and learning to ensure we are always practicing best kosher standards. Something may seem simple, like washing vegetables, but for them to be kosher, it must be triple washed methodically to ensure there are no bugs, dirt, or impurities.

As the United States of America comes to its 250th anniversary, we want to honor the memory of all those who made this country possible through action and prayer, specifically members of the Jewish community who you may not have seen in your history books.

The three we've mentioned are just a small few of the hundreds of Jewish people who participated in the American Revolution as well as the country's fouding principles and beyond. Let us know in the comments if you learned anything, and if you'd like to see more content like this!
