West Hartford Gets Its Own Monopoly-Style Board Game!
West Hartford-Opoly celebrates local landmarks, businesses, and schools while raising money for Hall High School and Aiken Elementary School.
West Hartford residents can now buy, sell, and trade their favorite hometown locations with the launch of West Hartford-Opoly, a custom Monopoly-style board game benefiting Hall High School and Aiken Elementary School.
The game features familiar West Hartford landmarks, parks, schools, restaurants, and businesses. Classic Chance and Community Chest cards have been renamed Rose Garden and Reservoir cards, complete with local humor, including an appearance by the infamous Trout Brook Turkey!
Players can also search for hidden objects throughout the illustrated board, and some lucky purchasers will receive an extra surprise, including free West Hartford parking, ice cream from A.C. Petersen Farms, or tickets to Playhouse on Park.
Made possible with support from local businesses and organizations, West Hartford-Opoly is a fun way to celebrate the community while supporting two local schools.
Games are available for pre-order for $40 through November 15, 2026, with delivery expected in January or February 2027.
Whether you're a lifelong resident, a former West Hartford student, or simply someone who loves the town, West Hartford-Opoly makes a great keepsake or holiday gift.
