Great Northern Railway Cafe Delicious breakfast, lunch, & dinner served out of our vintage Great Northern Railway Caboose located at Great Northern Resort in West Glacier.

Open 7 days a week 8am to 8pm Eat lunch in Glacier surrounded by history and scenery. Meals are served out of our newly-renovated antique Great Northern Railway caboose, conveniently located in West Glacier, Montana. After your day of raftin,hiking or sightseeing, stop by our cafe and treat yourself to a delicious snack or just relax on the porch with a local beer or cocktail!

Located at Great Northern Resort in West Glacier, we’re just one mile from the west entrance of Glacier National Park — the perfect stop before or after your adventure.

🗓 Open June 1 – Sept 12, 2025
☕️ Thursday–Tuesday | 8AM–8PM
❗️This first week only: open until 6PM
🚫 Closed Wednesdays (even we need a rest day)

Swing by for:

🚂 Last Call for the Season! 🚂

We’re wrapping up another incredible year at Great Northern Railway Cafe—closing our doors at the end of the day on Sunday, September 1st. It’s been a joy serving old friends and making new ones along the way. If you're headed to or from Glacier Park, be sure to stop by for one last snack and beverage!

While we’re closing, the Resort, Rafting & Fishing will stay open until mid-October. But for the Cafe, Sunday is our final day. Come say goodbye!
