What do you do when your Day Chef, Brandon, is from Mobile, AL and is feeling a little homesick? You make Jambalaya for lunch ALL WEEK 🙌. What’s that you say? Jambalaya is not Italian? Then why is there “Italian“ parsley on it? Stop being such a purist and come get some lunch!

Blackened chicken, andouille, sausage, house, market cheese curd sausage, sautéed jumbo shrimp, and Brandon‘s own blend of Gulf Coast tastiness veggies, and long grain rice.

If you are like Pat, and can never quite get New Orleans out of your brain, this one is going to scratch your Creole itch.

Tag ‘em and bag em! We spiced up our Togo bags. Now everyone will know you had an amazing night out at Ziti’s! Even our w**e bags got an upgrade. Friendly reminder, we don’t do off-sale BUT if you don’t finish your bottle while dining with us we will put it in our new adorable w**e bags for you to enjoy safely in your own home!

OK GUYS THIS IS SERIOUS- we just made this delicious handheld and we can’t for the life of us figure out a name. We need some help. It’d be a lot easier if you came in and ate one for lunch this week (starting weds) but feel free to give it a shot based on the pictures. If we use your name, you can come in and Pat will make you one on the house. Here’s what we’re working with:

A mild Italian sausage, link, grilled crisp and smothered with ooey gooey mozzarella in a fresh baguette roll. Topped with arugula, pickled red onion, hot Giardiniera, and cherry pepper aïoli.

Hey gang- got a minute? Awesome we have 5 Quick things to share!

1. Meredith (L) was recently promoted to manager at Zitis! She has been with us since day one and her attitude, work ethic, and focus on hospitality make her an excellent leader on our team 👍

2. Sidney (R) was recently promoted to marketing and brand development manager! She has been our evening bartender since day one and is beloved by our team and our guests. She shares Pat and Gabby‘s entrepreneurial spirit, and they look forward to working with her to grow our little company into the future.!

3. Gabby‘s tiramisu cheesecake looks even more decadent and photogenic than usual so we thought we’d share and remind you all how delicious it is 🙌

4. The guys in the picture at the back of the bar are just watching Bison football waiting for you all to come in and have some dinner with us tonight 🤘

5. Thank you everybody for an unbelievable summer at Zitis! Look forward to some fall announcements next week, including spooky dinners, Halloween plans, and fall menu roll out. You all are the best, have a fun and safe Labor Day weekend we will see you on the other side 🍁❤️

You may notice a slight change in your favorite pasta next time you come in!

Due to an unforeseen interruption to our imported namesake Ziti supply, our signature SALSICCIA AL ZITI will be Salsiccia al Rigatoni for the foreseeable future. Strictly speaking, it’s a better shape for the dish anyhow and we think it looks great! We will be using a quality domestic ziti pasta in order to keep our Ziti Rosa as classic as possible.

It’s aaaaalmost autumn and we are having some fun in the kitchen! Can’t wait to launch a modest refresh and a few new items for you all.

Sandwich: Smothered and Stuffed Sausage and Pepper Sandwich- a grilled House Market Cheese Curd stuffed Italian link smothered with red sauce, grilled peppers and onions, and melted mozzarella.
