Private Tour to Thailand 🇹🇭❤️

Before we move on, let me continue the story from yesterday...
Because something happened that brought an old dream back to life.🗞️📸

One of my favorite parts of every trip back to Thailand isn't the beaches or the food🍜... it's reconnecting with my Thai Orchid family❗✨🎉

2 years ago, I randomly met one of our customers on a flight✈️😱 to Thailand. We ended up talking the whole trip, and I got to share some of my favorite local places.

The next year... it happened again⁉️🇹🇭

Last year, several customers asked me to help plan their Thailand itineraries.
❤️❤️❤️
Then this past March, I had the pleasure of taking Joel to visit my family's oyster farm—a side of Thailand most tourists never get to experience.✌️😍

And now... once again, I've had the chance to take care of Thai Orchid customers here in Thailand.

It made me remember a dream I've carried for years.
.
The idea was simple: Come with me, and let me show you the Thailand I know and love. Not as tourists❌, but as friends.👭

You'll never have to wonder where to go, what to eat, or whether you're in the right place, because you'll be exploring Thailand with someone who was born and raised here.🤞

I'll take you beyond the guidebooks—to the places I grew up loving, the family recipes I treasure, and the stories of Thailand that have been passed down through generations in my own family. My love for Thai history comes not only from books, but also from listening to my great-grandparents' stories as I was growing up.

This won't be a typical tour. It'll be a Thai Orchid experience—warm, personal, authentic, and full of the little moments that make people fall in love with Thailand.

We'll eat where Thai people eat, travel the way locals travel, discover hidden places, laugh at all the wonderfully crazy Thai moments, and create memories that no tour company could ever offer.🍜

I had to put the project on hold when we unexpectedly had to move the restaurant.😥😤🤯😨😭

But now...
I'm starting to wonder...🤔

Maybe it's finally time to dust off that dream and bring it to life.
What do you think... would you join me? 🇹🇭❤️

Finally... I made it happen again❗❤️🇹🇭

Almost every year, I try to spend June through August in Thailand, searching for NEW ideas, new flavors, and unique experiences to bring back to Thai Orchid✨ I never want our restaurant to stop growing or become predictable.

But deep down, I've always hoped to do something more...
To share my Thailand with the people who have become part of my Thai Orchid family.
😍🎀That's how the idea of Thai Orchid Private Tour to Thailand was born.

Whether you'd like to explore Thailand with me for an entire journey or simply join me for a one-day adventure, I'd be honored to be your guide.⁉️

A special thank you to Thomas, Duane, Doug, and your family for allowing me to take care of you during your time in Thailand.

I had so much fun joining you on our day trip to Ayutthaya! We enjoyed freshly made Thai cotton candy (Roti Sai Mai),🍭 visited magnificent UNESCO World Heritage temples🏘️, took a long-tail boat ride🚤, met gentle elephants🐘, feasted on delicious grilled river prawns🦐, and ended the day with an exciting Thai boxing show.🥊🤼‍♂️

These are the kinds of experiences I love sharing—not just the famous places, but the stories, traditions, and little moments that make Thailand so special.📸✈️

Thank you for letting me be a small part of your journey. These memories will stay with me for a long time, and I hope you'll feel the same.

See you back in Thai Orchid this September❤️🍜

7-7, 2014 ❤️Happy Birthday to Thai Orchid Restaurant

12 years ago, our family packed up everything we owned, took a leap of faith, and traveled over 8,000 miles to start a new chapter here. It was also the day Thai Orchid became part of the Osa family.👨‍👩‍👧‍👧🇹🇭

There's a story I've always wanted to share.🎀

Long before we owned the restaurant, I happened to visit Thai Orchid during its first few weeks after it opened back in about 2004. I gave the previous owner a Phra Phuttha Sothon statue as a gift.🙇‍♀️

They owned several restaurants, but for some reason, they chose to keep it here. Today, that same statue is still with us. It feels like it has come full circle and is watching over our family once again.🙏✨Looking back, we've realized that some moments in life are pure coincidence... but your support isn't one of them.💋

For the past 12 years, you've welcomed us into this community, celebrated birthdays and anniversaries with us, introduced your friends and family to us, and kept coming back. We never take that for granted.😍

As the 4th generation of our family restaurant business, Name and I promise to keep honoring what makes Thai Orchid special while always looking for ways to make it even better.✌️

Now it's your turn!
How long have you been coming to Thai Orchid? What's your favorite memory? What do you like and dislike? Is there anything you'd love to see us improve⁉️

And please... don't tell me you don't like me. 😜

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making us feel at home. We're so grateful to be part of this wonderful community. ❤️

It isn't easy to have the opportunity to offer alms to more than 100 monks and novice monks at one time. This is only possible at a temple that also serves as a Buddhist school.

This morning, I was truly fortunate to experience that blessing. According to my faith, the merit and blessings earned through this act can be shared with those we care about.

I hope it's appropriate for me to do so, but if you don't mind, I would like to dedicate these blessings to all of my wonderful customers. May your lives be filled with happiness, good health, peace, and countless beautiful moments. May only good things come your way. 🤍✨

Have you ever wondered why it's called ⁉️🤔🍜

When I was little👧, I'd come home from school absolutely starving.😋

My great-grandma would always make something warm for me to eat, and while she cooked, she'd tell me stories about the dishes she had been making for years.✨💋

This is one of the stories I still remember....

Back in the day, there wasn't really a dish called *Drunken Noodles.* People mostly made Pad See Ew.

One chef had a little habit... he liked to sip a drink while he cooked. 🍺😆

Then one day... it happened.

Instead of grabbing the soy sauce... he accidentally grabbed the chili.

Oops❗❗❗

The noodles turned out a little spicy... 🌶️

The chef quickly realized his mistake and went right back to cooking Pad See Ew the usual way.

But something unexpected happened...

People actually LOVED❤️🎀 that "mistake."

Customers kept asking,
*"Can you make it like that again?"* 😂

Finally, someone asked,
*"So... what do we call this dish?"*

The chef laughed and said,

**"Let's just call it... Drunken Noodles."** 🍜🍺

Now Is this the official history?
💛 Whether it's true or not... we're keeping the story alive, one plate at a time.

Every time I make Drunken Noodles, I can still hear my great-grandma telling me this story.
I miss her. ❤️

💛 Now it's your turn...

👉 What's the funniest food story you've ever heard?
Or... are you Team Pad See Ew or Team Drunken Noodles?

Let's hear it! ⬇️

Just a little update…

Honour arrived safely in Thailand on Tuesday evening, and this morning Bangkok welcomed her with its famous rush-hour traffic—an hour and a half just to get to work! 😂🚗

As I stand here seeing her off, I can't help but think about the little girl who used to run around our restaurant—the one so many of you remember playing in the Kid's Corner back when we were still in Moorhead.

Today marks the beginning of her final internship before she graduates next year, and her first real step into the career she chose for herself. ❤️

You might get tired of hearing me say "thank you," but please don't… because I have to say it again. 🙇‍♀️

Thank you for supporting our family. Every meal you shared with us, every kind word, and every visit helped make moments like this possible. ✨

You didn't just support a small family restaurant. You helped raise a little girl into the young woman she is today.…thank you so much.❤️Anne Osa

Happy belated Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there 💙👴A little late, but still sent with lots of love 😄

What did you all do for Father’s Day? Tell me in the comments! 👇
Name took dad on a Costco trip, and as for me… I’m all the way in Thailand, so I gave my dad a call to wish him a Happy Father’s Day and tell him how much I love and miss him 💛

Of course… I also may have asked him to send me a little money 😇😂I mean, taking care of your daughter helps keep you young and strong, right?

Just kidding… kind of 🤭 He really did send it.
Love you always, Dad. So thankful for you, near or far 💙
Addy my Daddy forever 🥹😂
