It’s rhubarb season! We decided to try out this recipe from ! It’s deliciously sweet and tart! We will have this juice thru the weekend!

🎉5 years ago TODAY, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life!

I took the leap and decided to leave my sweet little nest at the shared commercial kitchen, Square One ! It was during the height of Covid and my sister asked me, “Is now the best time to open a storefront?” I told her, “We’re about to find out!” 😂

The day before we closed, I texted my banker and asked him if it was too late to back out. (I think I gave him a mild heart attack) I was joking, mostly. 😖

The adventure has been a wild one. Through it all, I came to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Some times, you have to get kicked around a bit before you realize there’s freedom in surrender. Now, I’m able to not live in fear knowing that no matter what life throws at me, God will work it out for good. 🫶🏻

Being a single mom and a small business owner makes me feel like I can be out on a raft paddling by myself but I have built (thru faith) the most incredible community that I could have ever asked for. Every. Single. Time that I’ve felt like giving up, one of our sweet customers comes in and lifts me right back up. YOU are the reason why I keep going. 🙏🏻

There are too many people to thank but for now, I’m going to love on the smallest, but mightiest team we’ve ever had. To Jack, Sheyenne, Ashlynn and Jenna, I love you all dearly. With all of you, I finally feel balance and strength in my role at Juice Box. Being in this space, has allowed me to create again. So look for some new and exciting things that my teammates will be rolling out, SOON! 🥰

I have no idea what the next 5 years looks like, but I know that with Him all things are possible and with YOU, I will continue to make the most nourishing, healthy choices that our wonderful community has to offer!

🇺🇸🙏🏻Today, we are honoring our favorite veteran, Ron Nowacki by supporting a nonprofit that changed his life. We miss him so much and we’re happy to support the incredible work that does for veterans.

“Last week I received an email from my local news station that they wanted to interview me regarding my dad’s story on the Veterans Honor Flight. I was floored. Out of 100 men on that flight last spring, and the flights this past fall....they wanted my dad’s story.
I cried. His story is truly one of peace. It’s heartbreaking, yet beautiful. So my brother and I headed to the news station. 5 days later the show chased this story as if he was a local celebrity. You know what, he is now one. His story is to promote & support funding for a cause. My dad did not know it at the time, but his strength on that trip was going to inspire many.
I am so, so proud of him. I am so proud to be his daughter. He continues to live, while he is physically gone.
Veterans Honor Flight takes donations and volunteers year round. I have had so many people come up to me or reach out to me-“Your dad’s story is like my dad/grandpa.” Our Veterans deserve the world.
Let’s at least give them the trip. For my dad, it meant a welcome home he never got when he returned from Vietnam. He was also in a 6 and a half year battle with cancer. (He was also exposed to agent orange for half is tour.) I truly feel my dad found a peace or closure on that trip as it was 3 months later he passed.”

We missed you so much Ron. Thank you for being such a bright light in this world. 🇺🇸
