Last year, when Mario & Gino’s was still finding our footing, we had the privilege of meeting Lena when she joined our commissary to chase a dream of her own — starting her hot dog trailer, “Weenie Genie.” 🌭

Anyone who has started a small food business knows just how much heart, hard work, and courage it takes to turn that dream into reality. Unfortunately, Lena has had to put that dream on hold after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Following a double mastectomy, she is now back in the hospital battling a serious infection while undergoing around-the-clock IV antibiotics.

As fellow small business owners, this one hits especially close to home. We’re asking our Mario & Gino’s family to rally around Lena and her family during an incredibly difficult time. 💕

Unfortunately, tonight’s East Fallowfield Township Summertime Music Series has officially been CANCELED. ☔️

We were really looking forward to serving everyone tonight, but with the possibility of more rain this evening and the field already too soggy for cars and food trucks to safely drive on, the township had to make the call.

We’re disappointed, but completely understand — safety comes first (and apparently Mother Nature had other plans 😩).

Thank you to everyone who was planning to come out and support us and the other vendors! ❤️🇮🇹

The good news? We’ll be back soon to kick off a PACKED September! 🙌
