Community is at the heart of everything we do at Shake Up.
When I dreamed of opening this café, I imagined more than a place to grab a smoothie or coffee. I envisioned a space where neighbors could gather, ideas could be shared, and meaningful conversations could happen.
Tonight was a wonderful example of that vision coming to life.
We were honored to host State Representative Jim O’Day for a community meet-and-greet and to welcome so many residents, local leaders, and public servants including fellow state representatives, Senator Robyn Kennedy, Worcester’s Vice Chair of the City Council, and others who spent the evening connecting with members of our community.
A healthy community isn’t built only by what we eat it’s also built by the conversations we have, the connections we make, and the places that bring us together.
A sincere thank you to Representative Jim O’Day for choosing Shake Up Wellness Cafe to host this event and for his many years of dedicated public service to West Boylston, Worcester, and the surrounding communities.
We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special.
Our hope is that Shake Up continues to be a place where our community comes together whether it’s for wellness, friendship, learning, or meaningful conversation.
