A great man has now left us. My father passed away quietly at home Thursday night with my mother at his side. I’m at a loss for words right now as to all the ways that he affected my life and that of others, but those of you that knew him know that he was one of a kind. He will be missed.

A Sale of International Décor and Collectibles from The Lark’s 30+ years of Special Theme Dinners

Lark lovers it’s your lucky day! Mary Lark has done all of the hard work, traveling the globe to collect fabulous items which adorned The Lark at our many theme dinners. Now all you have to do is stop by the offices attached to The Lark on:

Thursday or Friday, May 11th & 12th between 10 am and 6 pm, or Saturday May 13th 10 am-2 pm.
**Payments by CASH only as we no longer have credit card processing**

This sale is not to be missed, and the prices will be so good that you’ll want to buy up an entire collection! We will be featuring items that are:
French, Russian, German, Mexican, Spanish, Tropical, Oriental and more!
So come one and come all, and don’t miss out on the many charming items crafted by regional locals. Some pieces are rare or vintage. We’re selling Russian lacquerware, Italian porcelain, French copper pieces, huge Chinese umbrellas, weavings, French poster art, authentic Mexican sombreros & masks, and the list goes on! Happy New Year one and all! And thank you for the continual outpouring of love and well wishes for Jim and Mary. 2016 has been a year of ups and downs. Our sale of the restaurant fell through after many months, but we sold our entire wine collection to some fine folks. We receive calls almost daily asking if the restaurant will be reopening but, alas, the answer is 'not yet' as we're searching for a new buyer. Spread the word! May you all have a happy and healthy 2017!

Hello Lark lovers! A year has passed since we retired and the holidays are upon us. What better time to have a Christmas décor sale? This is your chance to acquire a part of local history. We are selling all of The Lark's fabulous holiday items at excellent prices. Items for sale will include:

Nutcrackers, Santas, Smokers, Department 56 Houses, Dolls (many antiques), Ornaments, Roping and Bows and almost anything you could think of!

So swing by and see Mary on Saturday December 10th between 10 am and 3 pm, or Tuesday December 13th, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

An excellent restaurant and their charcuterie is top-notch. We're using some at our Lark event on Monday. Thank you Paul for doing the hard work for us!

Paul Grosz previously ran kitchens at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn and The Whitney in Detroit before deciding to open his first restaurant in Detroit.
