Growing up, my grandma lived right next door to Barnek’s on 32nd & Pierce. My uncles and my dad hung out there, so some of my earliest childhood memories are tied to that little neighborhood bar.

I can still remember “Rockin’ Robin” playing on the jukebox all the time, and to this day it’s still one of my favorite songs because the second I hear it, I’m right back there. ❤️

It’s funny how a neighborhood bar can become part of your family’s story without you even realizing it at the time.

Did your parents or grandparents have “their bar” when you were growing up? What was it called, and what do you remember about it?

I’d love to hear some of these old neighborhood bar stories. 🍻

Girlfriend O’Clock just keeps getting better! 🩷🥂

A few girlfriends escaped before I remembered to get a picture, but look at this crew! I seriously love these Sunday mornings and seeing women come together, have a few drinks, laugh and just enjoy a couple hours that are for US!

Girlfriends!! 💗 Don’t forget Girlfriend O’Clock is tomorrow morning from 9–11! 🥂

The first one was SO much fun and I’m really hoping to see some familiar faces and lots of new ones tomorrow!

Come in your comfy clothes, come with your best friend, your sister, your mom, or come alone. 💗 The whole point of this is just a couple hours to hang out with other women, have a few drinks, laugh and have some fun before Sunday gets away from us.

The bar doesn’t open until 11am to the public so it’ll be just us ladies!

And because apparently I can’t just plan something without adding a little extra to it… 😂 I got a little something for every girlfriend who comes tomorrow. 💕

Our first fall beer has officially hit the tap at Eckbar! 🍁

Third Space Pumpkin Spice Cream Ale 🎃 And before you say “ehhh, I don’t really like pumpkin beer…”, this one might surprise you! It’s not super pumpkin-y, not overly sweet or heavy, and it’s actually really easy (and delicious) to drink!

Just enough fall flavor without feeling like you’re drinking an entire pumpkin pie. 😂 Come give it a try and kick off fall beer season with us! 🍻
