These are called cheese zombies. They are a huge deal in my hometown Concord California originating in the Mount Diablo School District, they were eaten by basically every kid in school. I’ve been feeling a bit home sick so I made my favorite thing growing up. They are soft buttery rolls filled with the always favorite American cheese. I wonder if they would be accepted if I rolled out with them here?
