Our ice cream is from Homeland Creamery in Julian, NC. A local family farm owned and operated farm since the 1930's! They use environmentally sustainable farming practices such as no-till crop rotation, recycling, and reusing chill water for crop irrigation. The cows are never treated with antibiotics, hormones or rBGH. They manage the full production process, so the milk never leaves the farm unt

il it's delivered to their customers! Additionally, they use low temperature vat pasteurization opposed to ultra-high temperature pasteurization. This retains a high percentage of milks natural enzymes and beneficial bacteria. Which adds to the flavor and health benefits of the milk. The advantage to vat pasteurization is evident in the quality and creamy taste!
