Bittersweet = pleasant but tinged with sadness.

Today we closed on the sale of Yank's Franks. We officially began this endeavor about 4 years ago although it had been on my "bucket list" for about 30 years.

Well, we had a blast. Now it's time for the new owners to realize their own dreams.

Soon the new restaurant will be known as Mamma J's. Marsha and Randy, the new owners, are targeting an opening by July 4th.

We wish them the very best and can't wait to try out their new menu.

Thank you all for your support and friendship. We will be around and hope to run into you (maybe at Mamma J's or at the beach).

We've always known reasons why hot dogs are the perfect food. Now the 18 reasons have been compiled.
This just makes me feel good about the 4 hot dogs I had for lunch yesterday (3 at home and 1 at Home Depot).

Hot dogs can change your life, if you let them.

30 seconds into the attached video of "20 cities, 20 hot dogs" what do I see? Kennebunkport!!! The hot dog looks to be topped with lobster and lettuce. Come on guys, where can I get that in Kennebunkport. Please don't tell me there is a hot dog place I haven't tried right in my backyard.

Now here's a challenge worth taking. Of the entries so far I'd have to say only "Liam’s Boston Baked Bean Bomber" is in contention. You could win $1000, but my question is, will they name the dog after you and when they sell it at Fenway?
