Wellington’s local coffee bar

Owl Canyon Coffee has come a long way in less than 4 years. From it’s beginnings as part of the North 40 News office, to a full service coffee house located in one of Wellington’s historic main street buildings. We are Wellington’s only local coffee house and take pride in serving hand crafted espresso drinks, coffee, tea, chai, smoothies, burritos, bagels, pastries and other treats.

Whether you are a local of many generations or visiting for the first time you will be treated like family in our little coffee bar. We love getting to know our visitors and catching up with our old friends in this unique and memorable setting.

Our “bar” has stood in Wellington for many decades serving countless meals and drinks. It has been polished by many boots and elbows, actually the boots have polished the brass foot rest. Now we have tried to create an inviting comfortable escape blending the old and new inside our little shop. Stop in and learn about our historic bar as well as the locally milled beetle kill furniture that was hand made right here in town.

We take pride in how we do thing around here. Our lever pull Astoria espresso machine is a rare breed in the day of fully automatic “factory drink” machines. It allows every drink to be crafted by our baristas and made to order for our customers. We continually strive to provide the best tasting products partnering with local companies whenever possible. We love our Wander Coffee, Pi Chai, Donut Haus pastries and bagels along with Barista Pro Shop and Consuelo’s burritos. We have personal relationships with each of them because they are right here within biking and driving distance. They also take pride in providing the finest products and the best service possible, and we just simply enjoy them.
