🦊 THAT'S A WRAP ON FAIR WEEK!
Eight days ago we hid a gift card at the Lorain County Fair and posted a riddle, mostly wondering if anybody would bother looking.
You bothered! All week. In the heat, with strollers and grandparents and kids who were quicker than every adult out there.
HERE'S WHO FOUND THEM 👇
🏆 Monday — Glen Craig , who recognized the outhouses before anyone else had a clue
🏆 Tuesday — Kristy James Lunn at the memorial benches, and Heather McCraw at the water fountain by the donut stand
🏆 Wednesday — Hannah Teeters Rettger found in the maze in the bee barn
🏆 Thursday — Aiden Harker, behind the ATM. We were sure that one would need another hint. It did not.
🏆 Friday — Laura Bucholz , who worked all three stops and finished at Cowgirl Coffee & Tea Co.
🏆 Saturday — Katie Clark and family, who cleared all 8 clues in 45 minutes. Forty. Five. Minutes. And Kristy James Lunn again in second, five minutes behind.
Saturday was the big one — we built our own hunt app for it, eight GPS clues across the whole grounds, and watched people walk corners of that fairground they'd never been to before.
THANK YOU to Lorain County Fair for letting us run loose on your grounds all week.
THANK YOU to The Lucky Penny Café, The Cotton Candy Lady of Ohio and Cowgirl Coffee Co. for playing along on Friday. .
And thank you to every single person who solved a riddle, walked a mile in the sun, sent us a photo, or just followed along from home or work. Over 160,000 of you watched this thing unfold online. From a diner in a town of 4,800.
Raffle winner from Saturday's finishers gets announced shortly 👀 🏆🏅
