We love requests like these.

We played a very small part in this huge accomplishment for The Red Wing Food Shelf. We will always be ready and available for a helping hand to this great organization!

🍎🥕🥗WE DID IT! We have officially earned SuperShelf certification! This certification was achieved through a partnership with the University of Minnesota Extension SuperShelf initiative.

SuperShelf is a statewide collaborative that works with food shelves to make the healthiest choice the easiest choice. The initiative focuses on improving layout, increasing the visibility of healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins, and empowering neighbors to make choices that best meet their families' needs. As part of the transformation process, we updated our space, reorganized displays, introduced new signage, and increased the prominence of nutritious food options throughout the food shelf.

We extend sincere gratitude to the Red Wing community, our volunteers, Power of 100 - Red Wing, the Siewert Foundation, Bleu Dog Café, Red Wing Shoe, board members, and the many community partners whose support made this certification possible. ❤❤❤
