We have witnessed first hand how supportive and amazing this community is and we would love to encourage that support for our Nottawa Sherman Fire Dept.

We have witnessed over and over our hometown heroes in action and in our darkest day they were there. And the weeks following they have continued to be there.

NSFD Annual Fundraising Auction.
May 18, 2024, 6pm at the Weidman Community Building on Bridge Street in Weidman.

One week from today is the fireman’s auction and we would love to see you!!!

One Week. It’s been a whole week since our world was turned upside down, a week without our people. We are thankful for the love and support of each and everyone of you, God willing we will be back to serving you in the future.

Thinking of our community today as reality starts to set in. Our hearts go out to every single person who lost, their breakfast spot, their place to meet up the with guys for coffee, their work out of the office place, their place they chose to celebrate life or the place to come to for comfort. Whatever brought you into JoLee’s know you left as part of the family.

We miss the friendly banter and sharing life with our people. We hope this Thursday finds you well and just wanted to tell you that you are a blessing to us all and we miss you already ❤️

This morning we are asking that you take time and pray for our staff. We have the very BEST staff. It felt like family coming together.

In the short time we were all there, bonds were created and although this physically creates distance we want them to feel the support and love we have felt. This community has given us so much support since before we opened and we wouldnt have been able to do so without our team with us.
Reality is really starting to set in as we no longer have shifts to show up for and or a job to be done.

I don’t think it’s quite set in. Yesterday was a whirlwind of emotions and tasks. We are still going to be navigating this for a long time but we want to say thank you. For every call. For every message. To every person who showed up for us. This community was always the heart behind JoLee’s. Our passion and joy came from serving you.

We want to thank Nottawa Sherman Fire, Barryton Fire and Deerfield Fire for answering the call. They showed up for the job and went beyond to show care and concern for their fellow brother.

Thank you for rallying around us.

We will be trying to respond to every message as soon as we can, we are thankful everyone was physically safe, while simultaneously working through the emotional warfare of this devastation.

Due to a devastating fire the restaurant will be closed indefinitely. We just want to say how much we love this community, we dont know what the future holds but we do know who holds the future. We appreciate prayers as we move through this. All of our love ❤️
