Boondocks BBQ & Creamery is currently hiring for team member positions. We’re looking for individuals who are reliable, complete tasks quickly and accurately, can handle fast paced environments and able to work well on a team.

Our business hours are 11am to 8pm Thursday, Friday & Saturday; Sunday 11am to 6pm.

Our team members currently earn $14+ /hr. Previous restaurant or food handling experience preferred but not required as we provide training.

We offer the following:

• Paid Breaks & lunches
• Employee Meal Discounts
•Paid gym membership
• 2 Free Uniform Shirts
• Tip sharing for everyone from front of the house to the back of the house
• Starting pay higher than minimum wage

Applications can be picked up in person during our normal business hours: Thursday-Saturday 11am to 8pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.

This is what commitment to our community looks like! This group of our team members organized a volunteer day at our local animal shelter Randolph County Animal Shelter - Wedowee, Al! They didn’t let the rain discourage them from their goal! They showed up at 8am (after working a busy weekend at Boondocks) ready to go!

They cleaned the cat room and socialized cats and kittens, cleaned and did maintenance in the rain on dog parks, walked dogs in the rain, gave dogs baths, cleaned floors and did laundry!

We encourage and reward our team for volunteering!! If you’d like to learn more about volunteering, adopting, or donating please check out their website www.randolphshelter.org

Our bbq side has all your faves, like our sliced brisket plate (below), as well as some limited time items: Blazin Chicken (mac bowl or sandwich) and our Loaded BBQ nachos.

For everyone who has been asking about Mr. Denny Hicks, yesterday was his release day from the Mayo Clinic! ❤️❤️❤️

Watch the touching tribute the Mayo team members give to every patient and their donor as part of their release celebration of life.

Mr. Denny will be continuing his rehab process, so your thoughts and prayers for his healing process are greatly appreciated.
