We love Fall!

Fall in Wedowee 🍂… but not quite yet!

Before we start talking about fall, let’s be clear… we aren’t saying summer is over!

In fact, we’re holding onto summer around here for as long as we possibly can—which is exactly why you won’t be seeing pumpkins, fall leaves or orange everything around our place anytime soon. ☀️

But eventually, the boats will slow down. The jet skis will get put away. The days on the water will become a little quieter.

And that doesn’t mean the fun stops.

Because there’s so much more to Wedowee than our beautiful lake.

Fall is for scenic drives and beautiful colors, fishing and quiet mornings on the water, getting outside and enjoying cooler weather, exploring downtown, shopping local, grabbing a bite at one of our restaurants, enjoying live music and community events, meeting friends for coffee, wine or craft beer—and simply enjoying the slower pace of small-town life.

And maybe most importantly, fall is a reminder to keep supporting the businesses that make this community special.

Our local businesses don’t just need you during the busy summer months. We’re here year-round. ❤️

So keep eating local.
Keep shopping local.
Keep grabbing coffee.
Keep making dinner plans.
Keep coming to events.
Keep meeting your friends for a drink.
Keep finding reasons to get out and enjoy Wedowee.

Because when the lake gets a little quieter, our community doesn’t have to.

So no, we’re not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet………

But when fall does arrive, we’ll be ready to show you that there’s always something to love about Wedowee—365 days a year.

And don’t worry… we’ll let you know when it’s officially pumpkin season. 🎃😉
