Waynoka pays $22,500 a month for the Sheriff’s Department, and lately it feels like policing me, my kids and my house is a priority. 🤷‍♀️ Meanwhile, what progress has been made on the break-ins and thefts residents have reported?

And what do Freedom, Hopeton, Dacoma, Capron, and Avard pay for sheriff’s coverage? Do they have separate contracts, or do they rely on the services funded through the county budget?

What additional staffing, patrol hours, and services does Waynoka receive for that $22,500 a month $270,000 a year? How does that compare with the coverage other Woods County communities receive?

These are reasonable questions about taxpayer money. Residents deserve clear answers, fair treatment, and an explanation of exactly what we’re paying for. P.s are we still waiting on those audits? YEP!!!

My baby turns two this month! 🥹 He’s full of mischief and definitely going to test me, but he’s already teaching me so much more about patience and love. I never knew how much we needed him until he was here. 🤍
