After the closing of the Mohawk movie theatre, a local orthodontist purchased the building for his mother to open an Italian restaurant. She along with other local friends started cooking with their recipes brought over from Italy. People from all over Stark and surrounding counties would come to enjoy the homemade pastas and bread. In 1986 the entire theatre was remodeled to accommodate the growi

ng number of patrons. The large dining room can seat over two hundred people, and offers a unique atmosphere. From it’s high ceiling to the stage where local residents occasionally entertain with dinner theatrics.

Happy 4th of July!!! We hope everyone is enjoying a great weekend. Cibo’s restaurant will be open tomorrow from 11-4pm. Please stop in to see us or order takeout to feed the whole family. Nothing says America like house made pasta. 🇺🇸

Additionally, please note that Cibo's will be closed on Saturday, July 4th, as we observe America 250, and will reopen on Sunday, July 5th, at 11am, with a 4pm closure.
