Three events. Same location. THREE rainy weekends! 🌧️😂🍦

I’m beginning to think Lackawanna Station is cursed for Alsies of Montclair! 😂

Our grand opening in April? POURING!

Our second paid event? POURING!

Today’s Montclair Pride, originally expected to attract 25,000+ people and postponed FOUR times? You guessed it… POURING AGAIN! 🤯🌈

As a new business owner, I’m learning some expensive lessons. One of the biggest? Not every opportunity is a good investment, especially when you’re a small business with tight margins.

But here’s the silver lining. 💕

I’m spending the day laughing and making memories with my sons, hopefully meeting wonderful people, and learning what works for our business.

Next year? More private events, community partnerships, neighborhood routes, and smarter investments!

Sometimes you make money. Sometimes you make memories. And sometimes you pay for the lesson! 😂💗

Here’s to making the best of whatever life—or Mother Nature—throws our way! 🌈🍦
