A couple of weeks ago, I finally took the leap and left my corporate job.

This wasn’t an easy decision at all. It took me years of thinking about it, praying about it, going back and forth, and then months of really sitting with the idea and planning what this could look like.

And honestly, when the day came, I remember just feeling this quiet peace. Not because it wasn’t scary, but because deep down I knew I had already been carrying this decision in my heart for a long time, and God had already been preparing me for it.

It was still scary though. I was leaving a really good job, one I had prayed for and was truly grateful for, and stepping into something completely unknown. Not knowing what was next, only knowing that God has a plan for me.

These past couple of weeks have been a mix of emotions. Some days have been really hard, especially with late nights baking and adjusting to this new rhythm. But slowly, I’m finding my flow, figuring out systems, learning balance, and even starting to protect time for my family and rest again.

I’m grateful for the support, for the prayers, and for everyone who has believed in this dream with me. 🤎

“I HAVE TO vs. GET TO”

We don’t often talk about the pressure that comes with the blessings, the exhaustion, the late nights, the mom guilt when I can’t always make it to bedtime. Performing on two hours of sleep and still showing up.

But I’m learning to shift my perspective.

On the hardest days, I remind myself: I get to do this.

What a privilege it is to live out something I prayed for for so long. This isn’t entitlement, it’s inheritance. It’s grace. It’s answered prayers.

Thank you for being here and supporting this dream. Truly. God is good. He has been so faithful to me. 🤍

Even the pressure is proof of the promise.

Is it really sourdough? 👀

Just because a loaf says “sourdough” doesn’t mean it was made the traditional way.

Many supermarket breads are made with added yeast, enriched flour, and short fermentation to speed up production and lower cost. They may include sourdough culture, but skip the slow process that gives sourdough its depth and health benefits.

Real sourdough is more than an ingredient.

🌾It’s a process.
🌾It’s slow fermentation (24–36 hours).
🌾It’s simple ingredients.
🌾It’s allowing time to transform the grain.

Cheaper and faster sounds good… but at the cost of what?

Not all breads are made the same — and not all “sourdough” is truly sourdough.

Did you know this? 🌾
