The Town of Waxhaw has made the decision to cancel Autumn Treasures, our fall festival scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, due to forecasted inclement weather associated with Hurricane Isaias.

We understand this is disappointing, and it is not the outcome we hoped for. We share in the disappointment of our vendors, staff, volunteers, downtown businesses, and everyone who helps make this event possible.

This decision follows the Town’s weather policy. The safety of our attendees, vendors, staff, volunteers, and everyone involved in the event is our top priority.

Because of the number of people involved and the logistics required to coordinate the event, Autumn Treasures will not be rescheduled. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s festival.

We also have a number of great events coming up through the rest of the year, and we welcome you to join us. For more information, visit waxhaw.com/events.

Thank you for your understanding.

Twenty-five years today. It's been a lifetime...it was yesterday. We will never forget. Not just the horror and tragedy of the September 11th attacks, but, in the aftermath, we saw courage and compassion, communities coming together, a nation uniting.
May we continue to strive to be a September 12th nation. 🇺🇲
