Our Tribute to the Queen 🦋🎸 the best way we know how. This limited release menu will run today and tomorrow 8/27-8/28.

Note from the baker:
this menu is full of southern staples, plus an homage to the cakes and pies Dolly has become known for. I had to include Red Velvet for Steel Magnolias and touched a bit on her Appalachian Smoky Mountain roots with flavors like wildflower honey, molasses and black walnut. Of course banana pudding, and a nod to her iconic apple pie. Dolly bars, because of course and a very very healthy dose of glitter.
I read something this morning from Krista Demcher | Personal Brand + Storytelling | Keynote Speaker that said she has written 3,000 songs, won countless Grammys, CMAs, and even an Emmy. But what everyone is talking about is how kind she is. How generous.
And if that’s not the goal, what is.

We need morning help! 🍰✨ This position would be Tuesday - Saturday 7am-2pm. Making batters, rolling and baking cookies, and helping us open up each day. Must be quick on your feet and have good attention to detail. Entry level // so if you’re interested in baking this is a great position to learn in.

Very long note from the baker:
The team has knocked it out of the park this week. Last week was fun bc we pushed our creative side and paired and learned about flavors we weren’t exactly familiar with - which is always the goal, right? I think that’s what makes us, us. Being different. But we also know sometimes you just want that inner gremlin comfy cozy stuffthatinmymouthrightnow type of menu. That’s what this is.

🧁 CUPCAKES:
- vanilla
- red velvet
- matcha
- strawberry
- dulce de leche (pictured)
- chocolate on chocolate on chocolate
- oatmeal cream pie 😏 this one is stuffed with fluff and folded with even more fluff and things. Top 3
- snickerdoodle with caramel fill and cream cheese (second pic) and mini freaking cookie 🦭🥹
This is also a massive seller when it comes to our wedding cakes / especially grooms

- Coconut Cream Pie Bar 🥥 yall are so funny, we did this for the first time last week and sold out everyday. Coconut cake and cupcakes? Not the most popular usually. But pie? Gone. I think I’ll leave it on the menu for a bit. Maybe add to the master.

✨ BUNDTS and OTHER THINGS:

- Smurf Bundts
- old fashioned caramel Bundts 🐱 this completes my Top 3 choices of this weeks menu. It’s rich caramel cake w/ a caramel glaze that’s poured on while it’s warm so it’s just ooey gooey rich. If you’re like me and grew up on the Starbucks caramel fraps (extra caramel) this is my love letter to you. I guess i should say no coffee flavor but like did the fraps actually taste like coffee? Not in my fantasies.
- Lemon loaves 🍋 same situation. Glazed while warm w/ fresh lemons and lemon zest so it seeps in and does absolutely everything your heart desires

+ all of our classic COOKIES BROWNIES AND CHEESECAKES
+ Grab and Go 6” cakes

🦜🌺 it’s TIKI WEEK at Bittersweet!🍹🧜‍♀️ Maybe I should have given a better hint? Idk. But it’s here! And will only run through Saturday so make it a point to come and see us!
