Farm Luck Soda Fountain & Dry Goods is a new soda fountain with a historic feel located in downtown Waxahachie. The design of the soda fountain was inspired by the soda fountains of the early 1900s and Texas farming. When visiting Farm Luck we hope you'll be taken back to the days of old when time seemed to pass more slowly, people actually spoke face to face, and customer service was the norm and not the exception. Farm Luck serves lunch and dinner which consists of lighter fare such as sandwiches and salads to heavier fare like soups. If it's a sweet tooth you're trying to cure, then our soda fountain or candy shop can be accommodating. Hand pulled sodas, lime freezes, ice cream sandwiches, brownie fudge sundaes, banana splits, strawberry phosphates, and candy by the ounce will be well worth your visit.

Congratulations City of Waxahachie! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 It really is a neat downtown to visit!

EXCITING NEWS!! 💚 We’re proud to share that the City of Waxahachie has once again earned Accredited Downtown status through Main Street America—the program’s highest level of recognition, awarded annually based on six rigorous national standards.

This designation reflects the everyday work of our downtown staff, board members, business owners, preservation advocates, and community partners who continue to invest in and strengthen our historic downtown.

That collaboration is making a real impact, helping drive nearly 3.9 million tourist visits to Waxahachie in the past year alone.

We’re grateful to everyone who plays a part in this success. Waxahachie is a great place to live, work, and visit—and it’s truly a team effort. 🙌

Downtown is so peaceful right now. Unfortunately, it’s pure ice on the streets. We’ll reopen once the streets become a little more navigable.
