I’m looking for ideas & people who want to participate in helping us have a huge ceremony/dedication on Friday Sept. 11th. I’d like to have the VFW & the color guard if possible as well as a few speakers. (I have been in contact with them) looking for any other ideas to add to them as well as including the first responders.
This project means so much to so many & was made possible through our whole community & would love for its dedication to be something special. Let me know what you guys are thinking…

We have secured a lift!
Thank you so much to everyone who reached out. Williams Companies out of Wysox (NOT affiliated with Randy Williams) has offered to loans us the lift. We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped in every way to help us make this dream become a reality for our community, we are truly blessed!

I’m reaching out to our community to look for help on reaching is deadline. I know this may be a long shot but figured it was worth putting out there….does anyone know someone with a lift that they would be willing to donate the use of for a few weeks?
With the goal of hoping to complete the mural by 9/11 a second lift would be extremely useful to have 2 artist each in one. Unfortunately with the rising cost of this since last year our budget doesn’t have any wiggle room😞

Update: All lines are back up & running

Apparently our neighbors w**d wacked our lines to the building🤦🏼‍♀️ so Our internet & phone are down. unfortunately our this effects credit card machine & phones … we are so sorry for the inconvenience😞

This is the remaining list of the banners that have not been renewed. The deadline is this Friday. Renewal fee is $140 paid to Waverly Recreation Booster Club & dropped off to the diner. New banners will be hung up in time for Veterans Day & the old banners can be picked up anytime after that at the diner.

We are a week & a half away for Hometown Hero banner deadline to reorder or submit a new banner. All checks & applications can be turned in at Becky’s Diner 6am-2pm any day of the week. Checks are made out to Waverly Recreation Booster Club.

So proud of these kids! Especially that they have both chosen to go on & serve our country🇺🇸 They will be dearly missed at the diner & by me as their mama🥹

Stop in & cool down with us & have some dinner before the historic event tonight. Then on the way out to watch grab a little treat from the dancers as they raise money for their nationals in Ocean City

Stop in & grab something quick for dinner before the train rolls by. The village has updated the ETA to be anywhere between 7/7:30pm. The patio will be open for seating & you can take your food in a box to sit outside but there will not be a server/employee taking orders. We are excited for this event & hope to see you!
