Story time! Many years ago we met an extraordinary woman who we hired to be our daytime bartender. We really liked her and thought she would be a great fit. We quickly realized that she would be much more than an employee, she would become family. Shauntel is one of the most amazing humans I've ever met in my entire life. She is truly one of a kind and would give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it. She has done so much, not only for us but for our staff personally. She has given rides, given money, talked them off of ledge, treated them to meals, brought back souvenirs from her trips, and opened up her home to host them for parties. I could go on and on for hours about all the heartfelt things she's done. She is the most selfless human you'll ever meet and if you've met her, you know all of these wonderful qualities I have mentioned. Sadly (for us but so happy for her) she is retiring next weekend and moving out of the area. We are going to celebrate her on Wednesday June 17th from 2-6pm and we hope you can come in and say your goodbyes during that time. We will have light refreshments for you to enjoy.

Shauntel, from the bottom of our hearts, you will be incredibly missed. We all love you and are so thankful we've had the opportunity to be your family for the past 10+ years.

We, as well as our other 2 bars (Alliger's House of Wings and Karen's Lehigh Tavern) will be closed on Easter Sunday so that our staff can spend the day with family. Happy Easter to you all.
