Dear friends,
Its time to post the post that we have put off . At this point, the restaurant will remain closed and will not be reopening. We will forever be grateful for the friendships made, the support we received, and the joy that you brought into our lives.
With one door closing, another opens. We will be continuing to grow the catering side of things, so please consider us for your next event, or even if its just a Saturday at home! This allows us to work with Eric's treatments and continue to grow Memaws, even if its not quite the direction we had originally planned.

We wanted to pop in a give a huge thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers. While we will remain closed for now, we are available to take catering orders, quiche orders, etc. Orders will need to be placed in advance.

Ive also thought about doing some pre order grab and go dinners. Let me know what you would like to see.

Just an update.. We will remain closed at this time. For those who do not know, Eric was put back into the hospital on Monday and will remain until at least next Monday.

Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Its official! Guess who got to sleep in his own bed last night???
Thank you to everyone for your sweet thoughts and prayers. Eric was released late Thursday afternoon. We begin outpatient dialysis today, and will continue 3 times a week.

Thank you to everyone for your continued thoughts and prayers. We had a pretty good day Tuesday, and there was mention that he might be released yesterday... Unfortunately the dialysis chair we thought was secured in Hopewell was denied by Davita. We were told he will have to stay in the hospital until he has one. We were so disappointed, but God knew what he was doing. Yesterday after noon s lab work showed that his magnesium levels had tanked. Thankfully he was able to get a bag of it, and his levels will continue to be monitored closely.

I will continue to post updates as things progress, but my heart is just about to explode from the sweetness and concern that we have experienced. Thank you for the cards, donations and the prayers. We have a long journey ahead of us but i know we are heading in the right direction.

Good morning friends. I want to thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers as we navigate. At this point, the restaurant will remain closed. It is currently what makes the most sense for us. I appreciate your understanding and will keep you updated as we move forward.

I want to thank everyone for the sweet messages, thoughts and prayers for Eric and our family. Ive had alot of folks reach out , if I havent responded yet, I'm trying to work my way through the list, but figured one sort of group message would be easiest.
Eric was taken to the hospital Wednesday for seizures and was in kidney failure . He currently has 3 % kidney function and dialysis has been started. We have a long road ahead, but he already started to have better color last night when i left and i feel confident that each day will be a little bit better.
Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Good morning. As a small family business I felt like i needed to make a post. We will be closed until next Wednesday at this point. I am planning to have our open house next weekend.
Please keep Eric and our family in your thoughts and prayers. He had a pretty rough night and is facing some long days.
