Good morning,

I saw this barn and couldn't help but think how many people probably see it as just old and dilapidated. Most people wouldn't pay it any mind, and those who do likely think it is of no use. It made me think about if that barn could talk, how much it has seen and learned over the years. Can you imagine all the history and everything that took place around it? Just think of all the materials and labor involved. This barn was probably a family's vision and dream. Even though it is old and run down, it still stands!

The analogy I see is that the barn reminds me of our elders. The next time you see an older person, think about their history, what you could learn from them, and what they have been through. And if you are an elder, remember that you have something to speak about and share!

Encourage the elders in your life, and be a light of hope and joy for them.

Surprise!! Crawfish boil this evening and tomorrow at West end Aldi and Winn-Dixie parking lot PCB! Soak no joke! Put some spice in your life! After finding out I would be home for the weekend, this was a last minute decision made last night. Time TBD. Depending on how soon I'm able to get back with my crawfish I'll have a little better estimate on my start time. For sure won't be before 3:00 this evening. I will keep y'all posted. Hope yall can make it!

Dear Customers

It will probably be a while before our next cook. I have seasonal ag work obligations from now until November that require me to be out of town frequently.

Our hope is to eventually have the food trailer going full-time, especially with different events. If everything goes well over the next several months, we will likely start back with the food trailer around November. At that time, we’ll probably be serving a lot of gumbo, jambalaya, chili, and BBQ.
