Today’s the last day.

No big speech can really sum up what The Brass Monkey has been to this town.

It’s been long nights, loud music, packed tables, and a parking lot full of people drawn in by the guitar stage. Familiar faces walking in like clockwork, knowing exactly what they wanted, and never quite ready to leave.

It’s been a place you could count on.

A place to grab a good meal, see someone you know, or just be around people. And somehow, it always turned into a little more than that.

To everyone who supported us, worked here, played here, and spent time here… thank you. You’re the reason this place meant something.

Today, we close this chapter.

As we close this chapter, we want to recognize the new owners of Black Diamond Brewery & Distillery Waverly. They’re good people who care about this place, and they have our full support. We’re genuinely excited to see what they build here next.

But for now, it’s one last day as The Brass Monkey.

If it meant something to you, come in one more time.

One last meal. One last drink. One last night.

We just want to take a minute and truly say thank you.

This past weekend meant more to us than we can put into words. Seeing the place packed, hearing the laughter, the music, and watching so many familiar faces come through one last time… it really meant everything.

The Brass Monkey has always been about the people, and you all showed up in a big way. We’re beyond grateful for the support, the memories, and the love you’ve given us over the years.

We’re not done just yet.

The Brass Monkey is closing its doors as we know it, and on April 1st we officially transition into Black Diamond Brewery & Distillery Waverly. Before that happens, we’re giving this place the kind of sendoff it deserves.

March 27th and 28th.

Tonight (Friday)
Evie Schaffer and Billy Harpert kick things off at 8pm. Live music, strong drinks, and that Friday night energy that has always filled this place.

Saturday
The final party.
DJ Roush takes over at 8:30pm and we’re going all in for the last night. No holding back. Just a packed house, great music, and the atmosphere that made this place what it is.

We’ll have specials all weekend on drinks, food, and Brass Monkey apparel.

The Brass Monkey is closing its doors as we know it, and on April 1st we officially transition into Black Diamond Brewery & Distillery Waverly. Before that, we’re giving this place the kind of weekend it deserves.
