What’s in the coffee bag?

Staring at a wall of coffee bags and feeling lost? We’ve been there. 👀 Our labels break it all down so you can grab your next bag with confidence. And if you want a little extra guidance, our baristas are always happy to chat!

P.S. Ask for a sample of our coffee of the week, or look at our pour-over menu to taste something you’re looking for.

Meet one of our baristas: Kennedy!

Kennedy has been with Idyll since we opened, and over this first year she’s gotten to taste so many of our roasts along the way. Listen in as she shares the memories that Glow in the Dark brought back for her.

This is what Idyll lives for! moments like this, where a smell or a note sparks an old memory, and reminds you of someone. That’s the lasting effect we hope to create!

Everyone say “Hi Abby!”

Meet Abby Kastner (Abby Kastner) one of our many resident artists at Idyll! This year, Abby is an art teacher at MPS and we’re wishing her the best school year ever.

Made using a printing method called linoprint/linocut. Each one of Abby’s designs are carefully carved into a block of linoleum, ink is rolled ontop of the leftover raised surface and stamped onto paper. Watch as she reveals the inspiration behind her designs, plus all are available for purchase in-cafe!

Happy find your idyll friday, today we’re featuring the person behind your favorite Idyll roasts; Mickey!!

Colombia is well known for their coffee growing conditions, and that definitely shows in this single origin. A delicious light-medium roast brings out the notes of juicy tropical fruit, amaretto, and a bright syrupy body to finish it off ☀️
