Peking is located in the heart of downtown Wausau, in the historic Landmark Building. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Food Critic, Dennis Getto, chose it as one of the top 25 best restaurants in Wisconsin, and included it on his "best ethnic restaurant" list. Peking has also been chosen as a hot spot by Treasures of Wisconsin, and has been awarded the title of the best ethnic restaurant by City Pages Magazine for many consecutive years. Peking offers an extensive Dinner Menu featuring many popular favorites such as Governor's Chicken, Pork Shanghai, and Cantonese dishes. The restaurant's real secrets are lodged in the many featured house specials such as Strawberry Chicken, Seafood Cantonese, East Meets West, and Scallops and Chicken with fresh basil. The inner beauty and ambiance of the restaurant decor is second to none as diners experience a sense of relaxation and ease.
