No fryers - we opted to forgo these, so we can incorporate healthier options into our menu. Our craft beers are produced in small batches, by experienced brewers, using only the highest quality ingredients.

Wow, what a ride it has been here at Red Eye! I’m so thankful for everything and everyone that has touched my life in my time here! ❤️

We’ve got some serious eats on the chef’s menu one last time for my final weekend leading the team! Featuring the seasons change, with the end of summer and the beginning of fall. These are some of my favorite dishes and I hold them close to my heart, I hope to see you all here!

A New Beginning

I want to introduce Chef Jake!!! Jake has been at Red Eye for over 14 years. I’ve been lucky enough to mentor and work along side him during my time at Red Eye. I’m excited to announce that he will be taking over the reins at Red Eye and leading the kitchen team!

His love for food and teamwork are a cut above. He is always excited to make a new dish, lead the team and work through a busy service. Jake has a deep love for real food, real ingredients and creative flavors. His dedication to his craft and commitment to his team shows he is the right person for this new role and I couldn’t be happier for him.

I’m really going to miss the days in the kitchen with Jake! Whether it’s grinding out a busy service or making new dishes together…. We’ve really learned how to dance and that’s something you don’t find very often. Though I am sad to walk away from not only a colleague but a true friend, I am so excited to watch him grow!

In the next coming months, you can expect new flavors with the same thought and care the kitchen team has always had for food. Let’s give Jake a big warm welcome as he settles into his new role as Executive Chef of Red Eye Brewing Company!!!

🥘 It’s only fitting that one of my last dishes at Red Eye is one that means so much to me and my career. Paella is a dish that brings us together to celebrate life! This is a dish I picked up early in my career at Solera. It’s a dish that has stuck with me all these years and I’m excited to share it with you once more.

Seasons mean change… and man, we’ve got a big one coming. After 12 incredible years with Red Eye, we'd like to thank Chef Nate for everything he has brought to our restaurant, our team and our guests. His last day with us will be September 24th.

His passion, creativity and dedication have helped shape the Red Eye experience and has forever changed our local community and food scene for Wausau. While we're certainly going to miss him, we're excited that he'll be sharing his knowledge and passion with the next generation of chefs as an instructor in the Culinary Arts Program at NTC. We still have an amazing crew & will continue to show up for you every day.

We are truly grateful for the lasting impact he's had on all of us. Thank you, Nate. ♥️ forever family.
