Happy fall! 🍁🍂🍁

The time of year when the air conditioning is on in the kitchen, the bedroom window is open to the outside 44 degree air while the heated floors in the bathroom are on. There’s a fireplace in the basement with the sliding glass door open and the heat just kicked on in the formal living room and the ceiling fan is on above my bed.

(Such a fun temperature experience for my hot flashes. 🥵)

Here prepping for the sold out 🎫 basket class tonight. That means that while we are still open til six, the dining room will be swapping tables to get our craft on. 🧺✂️

Get a hobby, they said. Being a workaholic isn’t a badge of honor - it’s a problem. 😬😬😬

No, I’ll tell you what the problem is. I’m currently addicted to cross stitching 🧵 30,000 stitch pieces and I’ve easily spent 100 hours on this and it’s not remotely close to being finished. 🤣🤣🤣.

Also it’s going to cost me no less than $400 to frame this $30 kit I got off Amazon.

(Side note - I secretly love it and crave the silent and repetitive moments of cross stitching. So while you might hear me whining, just know that a hobby that quiets your mind and works with your hands is a very good thing for those of us who are wired for chaos.)

I’ve spent the entire day on the couch 🛋️ watching football ball, baseball, and more football enjoying every moment of stillness (although a win in OT and Miz pitching isn’t exactly restful 😬) because this week is jammed packed!

Basket class on Tuesday night, I close on Wednesday, we’ll be set up at the ABC Sale at the expo center on Thursday, we have one bday party and a wedding on Friday, two more weddings on Saturday along with the RiverWest Fest on our street on Saturday.

Organized chaos at its finest - just how I like it best. 😉
