Well here it goes!
I purchased my OWN FOOD TRAILER! 🙌🏻 😭🥹
Let’s start out with: Who am I?
My name is John Wierzba, and I freakin love to cook! I fell in love with it as a young kid, With my mom teaching me her recipes growing up. And then especially at my Alma mater, SNC, when I finally had to move away from home and cook for myself. The rest of the story is pretty straight forward…
Graduated college during COVID, got a job in Weston at a materials factory for a few years, and all of a sudden, I found myself in control of the Mosinee Brewing Company food trailer at the start of August 2022. I started with fresh, local ingredients. And never changed.
Summer after summer my customer base grew, and by the summer of 2025, I was selling out of food 4-5x a week and eventually was voted best food trailer, along with several other categories, by the Wausau Daily Herald in 2025!
It was amazing to see all the people coming back, time after time, cause they could tell what food made with love tasted like. They could recognize the food was special. Anything from burgers and fries, to the voted #1 BBQ in the county, to healthy, fresh chicken wraps, I did it all!
So, I said why not do my own thing!
In January of 2026, I was able to find a local used food trailer, and I immediately fell in love with it. Signed the dotted line and got right to work! With the help of some good friends, I was able to turn this thing from a greasy mess into a shiny, ready-to-rock, cooking machine!
NONE of this would have ever been possible if it weren't for the sacrifices my lovely mother, Debra has made over my lifetime, and especially the last decade. And my late father Mark, who I know would have thought this was just the coolest thing ever. Love you both. Thank you!
What’s the plan?
I still have some work to do, but the plan is to be up and running be early-mid June! I will be doing a combination of pop-ups at local bars, or small events, as well as some catering!
