Not every event we do is the most beautiful or Instagram-"worthy"… but they are ALWAYS meaningful.

And today was a pretty special one.

We had the opportunity to cater the ADRC & Caregiver Conference — AND I got to trade in some of my usual behind-the-scenes chaos for a microphone and step in as a guest speaker!

It brought me right back to my roots, when I did a lot of public speaking for the hospital and community outreach programs. I’ll admit, I thought I was going to be a little rusty… but turns out, she’s still got it. 😂 I think I nailed it!

Here are a few behind-the-scenes pictures from the day — and YES, those are 175 boxed lunches, all wrapped up, tucked away, labeled and ready to go.

Today was a good reminder that what we do at Bent Spork isn't always about creating the prettiest table in the room. Sometimes it's about feeding people, educating people, connecting with our community, and getting to be part of something that truly matters.

And those are some of my favorite events. ❤️

We know we’ve been a little quiet over here…

But that definitely doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy!

Truthfully, the little Facebook ghosting was kind of intentional. 😂 Sometimes we have to remember why we chose to do this — to slow down, soak up summer, and spend time with our babies before they don’t need us quite so much. ❤️

So enjoy a few snapshots of the fun parties we’ve been part of this summer — plus a few of our own adventures along the way!

Wedding season is in full swing!

We had the pleasure of catering not one, but two beautiful weddings back-to-back this weekend, and what an incredible time it was! From charcuterie boards to buffet spreads, every detail came together beautifully.

Had the pleasure of catering my little sister's "I Do" day this weekend!

We were honored to kick off our first wedding of the season with such a special celebration, and we definitely pulled out all the stops to make it a hit!

And yes... a full-blown wedding cake was made. 🤣 While I love my sister dearly, cake decorating is NOT on our daily menu, so don't get any ideas!
