💎 14 Years of Giving Back — And We’re Just Getting Started

For nearly 14 years, Waunakee Professional Women has had one mission: to support, strengthen, and give back to the community we are proud to be part of.

Much of what WPW does happens quietly behind the scenes. We don’t always share every family we help, organization we support, or dollar we give back. We realized many in our community may not know just how far WPW’s impact reaches.

Over the years, WPW has:

• Awarded 15+ $1,000 scholarships, plus sports scholarships
• Supported Waunakee Cares Closet & Shelter From the Storm Ministries
• Sponsored local sports teams, 4-H groups, Music in the Park, Bash on Baker & Earth Day
• Supported the Memorial Tree Lighting & Merrier Waunakee Christmas events
• Provided financial assistance to the Waunakee Community Band
• Supported local seniors with household necessities, car repairs, pharmacy expenses, groceries & gas cards
• Supplied a full year of groceries to a senior after the loss of her caretaker and only family
• Purchased beds, mattresses, furniture & necessities for families experiencing hardship, fire or displacement
• Donated to the Waunakee Food Pantry & Waunakee Neighborhood Connection
• Supported the US Bank Holiday Giving Tree
• Provided financial assistance to local families and businesses in need

And we aren’t done.

This year marks our 14th Annual W**e Walk, where we anticipate raising more than $20,000 to go directly back into our community. We’re also proud to partner with the Waunakee Dance Team to help support their new uniforms. You’ll see these athletes alongside us helping make this year’s event a success.

WPW has never been about one person, one business or one event. It’s about what happens when women, businesses and community members come together for a greater purpose.

To everyone who has attended, volunteered, sponsored, donated, partnered with us or supported WPW over the past 14 years — thank you.
