We are currently hiring for Cashier Host/Hostess in Waukesha location.
Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. As a Cashier Host/Hostess, you're the first face people see when they walk in, you set the tone for the rest of the guest's experience here. You'll manage the transactions, seat incoming customers, and be in charge of placing take-out orders.
What You'll Do:
• Acts as ambassador to the building, greeting Guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while coordinating. Smiles and greets Guests upon entering.
• Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
• Bids farewell to Guests leaving. Ensures everything was satisfactory and invites Guests to return.
• Prepares for the shift by ensuring area is stocked with supplies: menus, silverware, Power cards, gift cards etc.
• Reviews the cleanliness and organization of the Front Desk and Host station.
• Ensures all menus are stocked and properly cleaned and maintained.
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company Team Members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum Team Member morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness.
• Notifies Manager of any Guest that is perceived to be unhappy.
• Assists other Team Members as needed or as bussiness dictates
• Drives table turn timing by scouting open tables, busing and cleaning tables as necessary.
• Rotates seating appropriately following guidelines to ensure fairness and balance in the dining areas.
• Manages flow from the front doors, efficiently helping Guests with needs and directing as needed.
• Manages wait times and communicates information as needed to Guests, Team Members, and Managers.
• Makes timely and accurate calculations of bill transactions.
• Completes “To Go” order transactions for Guests and ensures accuracy.
• Restaurant, retail, or cashier experience preferred, but not required.
• Is dressed in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times.
Required Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability
